Description

The Dementia-Friendly Canada project, led by the Alzheimer Societies of Canada, has created these guidelines for using language that is respectful and inclusive of people who live with dementia and their care partners. It provides examples of dementia-friendly language that should be used, as well as stigmatizing language that should be avoided when speaking about dementia.
