The Empowering Dementia-Friendly Communities Hamilton & Haldimand project, led by the Hamilton Council on Aging, has created this report to summarize the feedback gathered through community consultations held in Hamilton and Haldimand. Five key themes emerged from the public consultations, including:

• Empowering people living with dementia
• Challenging stigma and building understanding
• Fostering social inclusion and participation
• Creating dementia-inclusive built environments and transportation
• Improving community responsiveness to crisis/COVID-19
